Missing Person: Clifford Leon Herl, Male, , Date of Birth: 02/21/1977, Herl was last seen in Trego County, Kansas on March 20, 2005. He resided with a roommate in Tyrone, Oklahoma at the time and was supposed to go to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a job interview, but he apparently went camping at Cedar Bluff Reservoir in northwest Kansas instead. The campground is in the opposite direction from Tulsa. Other campers who saw Herl there and stated he was acting oddly. Herl's pickup truck was reported as abandoned and was impounded by authorities on March 21. The vehicle was about two miles away from the reservoir and one of its windows was broken. Police also found his camping equipment, clothing, wallet, driver's license, and Social Security card, along with a shredded note inside the truck. Herl wrote that something bad had happened and he was afraid to tell authorities, and that he wanted to change the old things in his life to new ones.
